Zylog Canada to Host Information Technology Infrastructure Library (“ITIL®”) Training

Zylog Canada will host ITIL^® 2011 Foundation Certification Training comprised of virtual classroom sessions on June 11^th, 13^th, 19^th, 21^st, and June 23^rd, 2012.

“The ITIL^® 2011 Foundation course is the entry level certification course for IT Service Management Best Practices training in ITIL”¹. Zylog Systems (Canada) Ltd (“Zylog Canada”) will provide interested participants with access to the virtual classes  on June 11^th, 13^th, 19^th, 21^st from 6:00pm to 9:30pm, and on June 23^rd, 2012 from 9:00am to 12:00pm and 1:00pm to 3:00pm.  The training will be provided by Knowledge United Canada, a Quint Wellington Redwood company and ITIL^® Authorized Training Organization.

“The ITIL^® Foundation course introduces the principles and core elements of IT service management (ITSM) based on ITIL^®. ITIL^® is comprised of five core publications: Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operations and Continual Service Improvement, promoting alignment with the business as well as improving operational efficiency”¹. Standing Offer (Task Based): Right of first refusal method of supply provides for faster turnaround times given fixed per diem rates and pre-set professional services class / categories¹.

Supply Arrangement (Task Based): Enables Identified Users to compete and to assess proposals on a wider range of technical and financial competencies amongst pre-qualified suppliers. Task based initiatives are usually precise work assignments geared towards a well defined deliverable with specific timelines¹.

Supply Arrangement (Solution Based): Similar benefits as with Task Based SA, however the Solution Based initiatives require end-to-end project work to derive, develop and deliver a complete solution to a business problem¹.
