CompTIA Certification Validation Now on Brainhunter Social Media

Brainhunter is the first social media to enable validation of members’ CompTIA certifications increasing their immediate value to potential employers.

Brainhunter Social Media now offers the opportunity for members to validate their CompTIA certifications with a simple click and even show their badges to potential employers. Employers can now rest assured that CompTIA certifications have already been validated directly by CompTIA, saving the lengthily verification procedure adopted by companies until now.

Once a professional registers for free to Brainhunter.com, it takes just a few clicks to request a CompTIA certification validation. CompTIA Certifications will be verified and posted to the member’s personal profile on Brainhunter with corresponding Certification Badge for all certifications earned.

“Certification verification is critical to assuring services are performed by trained and skilled professionals,” said John Mehrmann, CEO of Zylog Systems (Canada) Ltd. “Background checks on education, criminal records, and drug testing are recognized as common confirmations for many positions. How can a background check be complete without verifying technical certifications? CompTIA is making is easy to validate the professional skills required to perform the necessary tasks.”

“As the global IT industry association, CompTIA builds vendor-neutral certifications that measure foundational skills. They show employers you have the skills to do the job, regardless of the vendor of the hardware or software product. […] CompTIA certifications are built with the knowledge of experts and industry leaders from the public and private sectors, including training, academia and the government.”1

Brainhunter members also have the unique capability to “select a recruiter” listed in the Brainhunter Social Media community to provide personal services.  A personal recruiter can review and optimize resumes, coach job seekers on interview techniques and specific interview tips by a prospective employer, and match high level consultant skills with available and upcoming contracts.

Brainhunter Profiles also allow a member to manage previous employment history, education, contacts, groups, career interests, apply for jobs, and access group rate discounts and benefits. Members can also register for additional CompTIA certifications and training manuals at a discounted rate, and then display those enhanced certifications to peers and employers.
