Zylog Ottawa is Now Qualified for System Integration SBIPS

Zylog is now authorized for a new Supply Arrangement (SA) for SBIPS in the Federal Government

Zylog Systems (Ottawa) Ltd (“Zylog”) is now authorized in the Federal Government for a new SA domain for Solution-Based Informatics Professional Services (SBIPS): System Integration.

“Solutions-Based Informatics Professional Services (SBIPS) is a method of supply comprising of services and, in certain situations, essential goods, whereby a supplier defines and provides a solution to a requirement, manages the overall requirement, phase or project and accepts responsibility for the outcome”¹.

The SBIPS Supply Arrangements are divided into 11 domains of expertise. Certain companies, like Zylog, can qualify for more than one domain. Zylog had already qualified for “Legacy Support and Transportation”, “Information Management/Business Intelligence”, and “Managed Services” domains for all regions, and now Zylog qualifies also for “System Integration” for all regions.

System Integration domains of expertise include “services to support the development, maintenance and integration and testing of system components to merge their functional and technical characteristics into a comprehensive, interoperable system. Services include project management, architecture, design, development, testing and deployment.”²
