Zylog Canada to participate in the Big Bike Fundraising for Heart & Stroke Foundation

Zylog Canada will participate to the Big Bike event for the Heart&Stroke Foundation in an effort to give Canadians longer and fuller lives.

In its strive and commitment to give back to its community, Zylog Systems (Canada) Ltd (“Zylog Canada”) will ride the Big Bike for the Heart&Stroke Foundation and raise donations for research and promotion of cardiovascular health.

“The Heart&Stroke Big Bike is a team event geared towards community organizations, companies and groups. Teams made up of 29 enthusiastic riders (and one driver provided by the Foundation) pedal through their community in support of heart disease and stroke research.”1 “Last year, over 40,000 riders, in over 200 communities, helped raise over $7 million for research.”1
“This is our third consecutive year of participation and fundraising for the Heart and Stroke Foundation,” said John Mehrmann, CEO of Zylog Canada. “As an organization we encourage community involvement, so I am very proud of our team of employee volunteers who have organized the participation and the fundraising on behalf of Zylog and for such a worthy cause.”

“The Heart&Stroke Foundation of Canada is celebrating 50 years of leading the way to better cardiovascular health for Canadians through research, health promotion, and advocacy. Hundreds of thousands of Canadians help Heart&Stroke Foundation make a difference every year by fundraising, volunteering and donating to its cause. The Foundation, in turn, gives back to Canadians in countless ways.”1
