CompTIA Executive Forum Canada Features John Mehrmann, Author of The Trusted Advocate

The CompTIA theme of Shaping Our Changing Business is highlighted by an impactful presentation by the award winning author and CEO of Zylog Systems Canada Ltd.

Industry executives converge at the CompTIA IT Service and Support Executive Forum of Canada to discuss decisions that shape the future of technology.

The CompTIA IT Service and Support Executive Forum Canada will be held September 20, 2011 at the International Centre (Pegasus Room), 6900 Airport Road, Mississauga, Ontario, L4V 1E8 from 8AM to 4PM. The Canadian Executive Council includes representative members from Hewlett-Packard, Ricoh, Decision One, Oki Data, Compucom, Lexmark, Lenovo, IBM Canada Ltd, and Zylog Systems Canada Ltd.

The Executive Forum features community updates followed by a presentation Thomas Wardman, Principal, HP Canada Technology Services Consulting. Mr. Wardman will provide an educational presentation on Why Cloud is Not a Fad. Mr. Wardman delivers reasons why business needs to take cloud computing seriously over the next several years and how to get involved in shaping technology today.

Ms. Denise Woods-Goldstein, Director of Skills Development for CompTIA, will provide an update on CompTIA industry vendor-neutral IT Certifications. Ms. Jean Mork Bredeson, General Manager of Servivce 800, introduces a new reporting methodology related to ease of doing business as a Customer Effort Score and the impact on service delivery priorities. These topics are followed by an interactive Business Trends Workshop that draws on information and experiences to determine key trends influencing emerging opportunities.

The keynote features John Mehrmann, CEO of Zylog Systems Canada Ltd, regarding his award winning book The Trusted Advocate, Accelerate Success with Authenticity and Integrity. Mr. Mehrmann will share best practices for selling value added services in today’s changing business climate. Mr. Mehrmann draws from personal experience as a CompTIA Ambassador, member of the US ITSS Executive Council, former executive at Toshiba, industry knowledge and economic trends to apply several powerful techniques relevant to the emerging markets.
